    What can be verified today

      Host My Spot has managed short-term rentals in the Dominican Republic since 2016, with our own local team in Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Casa de Campo, Bayahíbe, Juan Dolio, Boca Chica, Las Terrenas, Puerto Plata, Santiago de los Caballeros and Jarabacoa.

    • Multi-channel distribution

      Every property is listed on Airbnb and on our direct booking channel, so income never depends on a single platform.

    • Run on HMS OS

      Bookings, cleanings, maintenance and guest messaging are coordinated in HMS OS, our in-house system. Owners see the same status the team sees.

    • One channel with the owner

      Direct WhatsApp with the team actually operating the property. No call center, no ticket queue.

    • Commission stated in writing

      The percentage, what it includes and what is billed separately are defined in the contract before we start. Market reference: 20-25%, depending on property and scope.

    • Monthly close with backup

      Every month we deliver income by channel, expenses and commission, backed by each platform's statements.

    How we measure results

    We publish results only when we can trace them back to a statement. These are the definitions used in any case study or report.

    Occupancy
    Booked nights divided by available nights in the period, excluding owner blocks.
    ADR (average daily rate)
    Accommodation revenue divided by booked nights, before taxes and cleaning fees.
    RevPAR
    Accommodation revenue divided by available nights. The metric that combines occupancy and rate.
    Owner net income
    Gross revenue minus platform fees, management commission and authorized operating expenses.
